Information about the .HU extension

In this article, we list information about the .HU extension.

Registration:
- Processing time: 8-10 days on average (may be longer in some cases)
- Nameservers (hosting) must be pre-created and match.
- Admin-C must have an address in Hungary, if one does not have this, a trustee is possible.
- Registrant must have an address in Europe
- For a company profile, a Chamber of Commerce + VAT number is required.
- For a private profile an ID-Card number is required.

Relocation:
- Relocation is via documents, not via a relocation code
- Documents can be requested by sending us an email.
- Processing time: without holder change on average 2 weeks (can sometimes be longer)
- Processing time: with holder change (few weeks to even months).

Holder change:
- Documents must be signed by the old holder and the new holder.
- In case of a business profile, an extract from the Chamber of Commerce must be sent along with the name of the holder.
